Each button is unique and the photos were taken with different lighting to give an idea of the variations in natural color.

Durability and care: all buttons are kiln-fired and glazed to stoneware hardness. However, these are not plastic buttons and they can break, although this is unlikely, if they are hit very roughly against a hard object.
Most buttons are fairly light (about the same weight as plastic buttons, or a little heavier) and don't cause any deformation of the knitted fabric. Of course, larger buttons are heavier than smaller ones.
They are washable and unaffected by water or detergents. They can be machine-washed - best on a delicate cycle. Of course, it's always best to wash knitwear by hand. Air-drying is recommended to prevent them from hitting the metal interior of the dryer drum.
